Marriage Pronouncement, Wedding Kiss, and Recession
With the main ceremony completed, the pastor proclaims that the wedding has successfully taken place. The marriage 'contract' is then sealed with a kiss.
Pastor:
By the power vested in me by Almighty God, and the State of ------------, I hereby pronounce you husband and wife.
(groom's name), you may now kiss (bride's name), your bride.
Pastor:
Ladies and gentlemen, it is my greatest pleasure to present to you, Mr. and Mrs. (groom's name).
Please join me in a warm applause.
