Cukarica Flag

The Cukarica Flag is a patchwork of images.

Cukarica Flag

Cukarica

Cukarica municipality in Serbia.

The Cukarica Flag has a red crenelated border and features a small yellow Greek cross on a blue background. Yellow is a common colour on Serbian flags, and has no particular meaning. The red, blue and white are from the Pan-Slavic tricolour of the Serbian Flag.

The Cukarica Flag also features three hills and a river, representing the town's elevated location on eastern side of the Sava River.

The bundles of wheat and the green hills may be an attempt to project the area as rural. In fact, Cukarica is a densely populated industrial suburb of Belgrade.
