Your rights, our rights
Pages on this website include information about various crosses and there is, of course, no copyright on the Christian cross. Indeed, it is the Christian's duty to distribute the message of the cross to the four corners of the world.
This website is also broadcast freely to the four corners of the world but the material contained on this site, as well as its design, is copyrighted and the owner of the site reserves all rights in and to the material. However, if you want to copy something you will usually find we are quite accommodating if you ask politely.
For those who wish to copy without explicit permission, be warned that whilst the ideas, shapes of crosses, etc., within this website are not copyrighted; the expression of these ideas and images are.
All text, graphics, HTML code and other computer scripts are protected by US and International Copyright Laws, and may not be copied, reprinted, published, translated, hosted, or otherwise distributed by any means without explicit permission.
The Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) provides a procedure for obtaining removal of infringing content without the necessity of filing a lawsuit. Under the DMCA, we send notices to the internet service provider (ISP) of the website and in doing so, place a legal responsibility on that ISP. For this reason, the ISP will take down the infringing website. If we also take you to court, you will be ordered to pay our attorney fees plus statutory damages, which can be as much as $150,000 for willful infringement.
You can, of course, avoid all this by simply emailing details of what you would like to copy, how you plan to use it, and wait for the site owner's permission.
