Unitarian Universalism Emblem

There is no centrally sanctioned symbol for Unitarian Universalism, but typically their emblem incorporates elements from the traditional flaming chalice of Unitarianism and the all-encompassing circle of Universalism.

One of several Unitarian Universalism emblems

Theologically liberal, creedless and non-dogmatic, Unitarian Universalism (UU) emerged from Unitarianism and Universalism. They have a wide range of beliefs and practices, embracing people from many religious backgrounds: Christian, Muslim, Jewish, Buddhist, Hindu, Quaker etc.

An easy-to-follow introduction to UU, plus further description of their symbols, can be found at First Unitarian Universalism Universalist Society of New Haven (www.uunewhaven.org).
